Russell Wilson Doesn't Give A Shit About A Wrist Band Or What Pete Carroll Says (Wink, Wink)
We got ourselves a classic lovers' quarrel here with Russ and Pete Carroll. It started with this from Pete:
And naturally Russ had to respond. Don't worry though, he's totally over it. He doesn't give a shit about wrist bands. It's not like he ever wears one. He cares about wins.
I know it's the Jags, but maybe, just MAYBE, Russ should wear a wrist band? A win is a win in the NFL and we know Russ fell off a cliff this year. Might as well do anything to help your team. Maybe a wrist band will help the Broncos from not taking 14 delay of games each game.
I find this whole thing hilarious. These two can't stop talking about each other. I said it yesterday but Pete has the upper hand. The Seahawks are winning. People are begging the NFL to never put the Broncos on a primetime game so they don't have to watch them. That sums it up as best as anything.
I understand the divorce, but part of me really wishes they were still together. I want to see how passive-aggressive they'd get on the same team, especially if it's this version of Russ. How much would they throw the other person under the bus and just ignore what's going on? Feel like we were truly robbed of a beautiful disaster because Pete was smart enough to move on.
This is how you know there's animosity here. They are bitching back and forth about a wrist band. We aren't talking about games. We're talking about a wrist band. I hope Pete finds something small to complain about each week after a win. Talk about the color cleats or type of cleats he wore. Talk about the facemask. Just find anything and everything to blame Russ for.
